Summary
Inside Loan Officers receive company-supplied leads in a call center environment. You will initiate the mortgage origination process for potential clients—preparing, analyzing, and verifying mortgage loan applications for the purchase or refinance of real estate.
Responsibilities
- Build rapport with existing and potential borrowers; meet and exceed customer expectations.
 - Analyze borrower financials and advise on appropriate loan products.
 - Excel in a fast-paced environment; multitask and follow up on multiple files daily.
 - Receive lead aggregators and live inbound calls daily (no cold calling).
 - Structure and price loans accurately; lock loans at point of sale.
 - Request initial documents and submit an initial paperless loan package to operations.
 
Requirements
- 2+ years of full-time loan origination experience in a call center environment.
 - Active CA NMLS (DFPI) license required.
 - Proven success in high-volume, fast-paced sales environments.
 - Ability to structure and price loans accurately.
 - Strong knowledge of loan products: Conventional, Government, Non-QM, HELOCs, Interest-Only, ARMs, Jumbos, Refi, and Purchase loans.
 - Meticulous, strong critical thinking, excellent communication and negotiation skills.
 - Comply with company policies and all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing the mortgage banking industry.
 
Education & Licensing
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
 - Minimum two years full-time loan origination experience (call center preferred).
 - Active California state license through NMLS (DFPI) required.
 
Job Type & Schedule
- Job Type: Full-time • Onsite (Orange, CA)
 - Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday–Friday; weekends as needed
 
Compensation
- Guaranteed hourly base plus aggressive bonus tiers
 - $100,000 – $275,000 earning potential
 - Paid semi-monthly
